PLDW is committed to community service and pro bono work. In addition to providing legal services to the non-profit community members of PLDW all participate in community affairs at some level. Additionally, the lawyers at PLDW provide pro bono legal services individually or through the Rhode Island Bar Association.
The firm proudly supports the Rhode Island and Southern New England community of support agencies through pro bono and reduced rate legal services in many areas, including human resource policy development and training, comprehensive tax planning, the design of workplace operating systems, and related business activities. As experts in board governance, strategic planning and corporate compliance, PLDW attorneys are frequently asked to offer guidance and information on tax exempt groups to ensure that fiduciary responsibilities are clearly understood. We welcome an opportunity to speak to all agencies and volunteer organizations that believe our expertise would be useful.
