Mohamedu F. Jones
Mohamedu F. Jones is a Partner with Pannone Lopes Devereaux & West and a member of the firm's Special Masterships Team, and is a veteran advocate and attorney on civil rights matters from the East Coast to the West Coast, and in his native country of Liberia. In his role at the firm as Deputy Special Master, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, monitoring prison reform compliance and progress, Mr. Jones' emphasis is on mental health care provided to prisoners. His unique set of skills includes working in the private sector, and for the government of Liberia, with a distinct interest in securing social justice for all people, particularly for those less fortunate.
Mr. Jones earned his law degree in his native country, summa cum laude, and his Master of Law from Harvard Law School nearly 20 years ago. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Maryland. Mr. Jones is the founder of an advocacy organization for immigration relief for Liberian citizens in the United States.
