Gary R. Pannone

Gary R. Pannone is the Managing Partner of Pannone Lopes Devereaux & West LLC. As a highly experienced attorney and well-respected business lawyer, his practice includes counseling clients in the areas of business formations, corporate restructuring, acquisitions, mergers and corporate compliance. In addition to his for-profit clients, Mr. Pannone devotes considerable time representing nonprofit organizations and lecturing on the topics of best practices and corporate compliance. He has been consistently selected as a leader in his field by The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and Corporate Counsel in the fields of business law and corporate compliance and has been recognized in Rhode Island and New England Super Lawyers in the areas of his expertise. Mr. Pannone is the team leader for the practice areas of Corporate & Business Counseling and Nonprofit Organizations.
 
Mr. Pannone is a frequent lecturer on corporate governance and compliance and possesses considerable experience in the areas of administrative, land use planning and municipal law. His clients include closely held businesses, public companies and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Pannone is a former solicitor in several municipalities and also served as special counsel to several state agencies and the Department of Labor and Training. In addition to managing the law firm, Mr. Pannone serves on several boards and devotes a considerable amount of his time assisting nonprofit organizations.
 
Prior to the formation of PLDW, Mr. Pannone was the managing partner of the Providence office of an international law firm. Mr. Pannone received his J.D. from Suffolk Law School after earning his undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and the U.S. District Court, First Circuit.
